I think you all missed the part about how Kunga, minor though he may be, is part of the Exchange. So messing with him means messing with the Exchange. Just having Sargo sign off on it if nothing else would have been huge to keep the above from happening at some point down the road. But instead greed and impatience removed that option and likely made our lives much more difficult down the road.

Yeah, I think I'm the only one who knew about it because Dood and Arrican got called to the principal's office before I could get there. And I was more concerned over what happened to those two, so when my attempt to get in to save them/work the Sargo angle started going bust I left as soon as I saw those two, assuming they had been picked up because Sargo's people found us out.

Obviously the name struck us, but I wasn't quite sure how to tell a person accusing us of ripping off his casino for 27K credits that, "Hey, I think your boss is mad at some guy and maybe we can take care of him for you?" without him accusing me of joking and then enjoying himself while playing knick-knack-paddy-whack on my kneecaps.

It's a casino and he's a crime-lord that operates in the area, thinking anything other than he's running it either makes you stupid or feigning ignorance to try to cover your ass, and I know you're not stupid. And if that was your way of trying to get in touch with Sargo to discuss mutual business opportunities then all I can say is you're doing it wrong.

And just to calm this down. Furiel they could have walked in and shot the casino director in the face, stole 500,000 credits and I would have changed the story appropriately. Maybe it isn't the way any given person wants it to go, but it is what it is. I have story ideas I want you guys to explore and it all has a way of working out.

I'd like our first I'm so mad drama as a guild in 5+ years to be over shit in SWTOR not over a PNPSWRPG.

Though in Furiel's defense, he told me earlier (I forgot if here or in WoW) he normally plays sneaky scoundrel types in PNP while Eli is a departure so his ability to yell at the keystone cops isn't something Eli would do so allow him the ability to second guess.

There won't be any drama. It is what it is. Could that whole deal been handled better? IMO yes but it's too late for that now and we move forward.

And yeah...sneaky is my specialty so keeping my mouth shut on stuff like this in character us hard for me so if I spout off in ooc now and then it's nothing personal so please don't take it that way.

Yeah, I too was on my phone at that point and that was easier to type.

What I wanted to ask was whether that -4 was because of being drunk or from the expected hangover/withdrawl I'll feel upon waking.

FYI, because I've felt no compulsion to work today (something about being the middle of labor negotiations and being asked to take an 8% paycut), I've slapped together the beginnings of an Obsidian Portal site for our campaign. I'm not sure how far I'll go with it, but I'm starting to focus on the Wiki part so that at least important character names, places, and organizations can be found somewhere without having to comb through the entirety of 2 threads.
