He's not getting away.

Trinal dashes forward and casts Thunder Leap. Flying through the air, he lands on the other side of the fleeing drow.

Attack is d20+13 vs Fort. This is the secondary attack- if it hits, it does 2d6 thunder damage and the target is pushed a square.

20+13=33 (oh yeah)
Crit: 16%
Damage: 9 (unless automatic max, then 12)

Target is pushed one square, back toward the rest.

Trinal smiles. "Hi there."

Actually, that should be 2d6+6. So either 15 or 18 depending on whether a 20 is automatic max.

Jimer's attack bloodies him. Though I have a question. Did your leap need a straight line? Basically how do the trees factor into that jump?

Oh, and because it was a crit, he takes 3d8 additional thunder damage (sorry for all the extra posts) due to my Thunderwave staff.

8+3+5=16

It did need a straight line, but the leap allows me to move my move speed + 2, so first I moved west a bit, to get a clear line past the tree, then did the leap. I could barely make it to the square I landed in (which is actually one off the map).

K just wanted to make sure. Technically I didn't double move him the full extent last round (he should have been in the same square you would have landed in had you cone the distance).

Not sure how that should be adjudicated- I would have landed on top of him, essentially. I suppose I could have landed in his square and pushed him back one.

It doesn't matter ultimately I kept him on the map for narrative purposes and we just roll with that.

Fair 'nuff.

He must be badly bloodied now, after that drubbing.

Yeah he's bloodied. He was bloodied before you did the thunder crit bonus.

Aye, I didn't mean in game terms, just story wise. He's taken a beating and a half.

I never got an action last round other than making my saving throw...so I'd like to retcon to taking a second wind since I was bloodied anyway.

34/59 HPS after retconned second wind.

Tony will move and use Deft Strike vs AC, which should give me the extra 2 squares to get him in a flank with Syric.

Tony's attack lunges for the drow and pierces his stomach. Blood starts gushing. His dying act is to blow a horn though the sounds quickly stops as he falls to the ground. Combat is over.

"Gentlemen Tony Plush believes that is our cue to leave. Stavis, see if there is anything you can do for Victae to rouse her. Everyone else, grab your gear and get it stowed. If we can't rouse her we carry her, Tony will take the first shift if needed."

Agreed, let's move.

Trinal grabs his gear.
