Sounds like the possibility of the First Contact War is more likely. I'd be up for that but a part of we would like to get to pick the species I'm playing and I don't know that I would be given that opportunity with the First Contact War.

Agreed on all points.

Alternatively, if they were to create a parallel to ME1/2/3 with an entirely unheard of character, I wouldn't be super surprised either. IMO They'd be smarter to roll with First Contact War though... go back to low-tech humans, make your character central to forging/forcing the alliance with the Turians. Seem's a bit more palpable... under-equipped, technologically inferior humans having to overcome an overwhelmingly superior warfaring race. Yeah...

Didn't get to watch live but from what Split Infinity radio dj said sounds like its after ME3.

Yeah, I'm getting that as well... which frankly is pretty frickin stupid considering the tone set by then ending of ME3. Oh well, I'm still gonna play the hell out of it.

Yeah, I think first contact war would be cool. Blindly launching nukes into space would have been a cool mission.
