Well crap, figured on the cave a little annoyed with the dismantle as I'm 1 shard away from finishing my chest piece, guess I'll have to start holding my breath for boot drops now.

yeah i was there this morning. it was so slow lol. but i still managed to get a purple engram in less than 30 mins

Same here, I was 1 shard away from another Chest or Boot upgrade. Looks like I'm back to VG Mark Farming

Not sure I really care about the cave though...

One thing kotaku didn't cover was that engram rates drop following a hard wipe for a short time.

Yeah, it sucks but I do not see this being
much of an issue in general gameplay however... I think this is more of a 'trigger-pull" against the farmers in the "shoot,die,repeat" spots like Shrine of Oryx and such.
That being said... on those instances even like last night when We had one group member way ahead on the "Restoration" mission and he dies... that's considered a 'hard wipe' since it takes us out to the Summary screen. Gotta stick together a bit more from now on.
