The Church of Alvis

May be a dumb question, but I don't exactly have the reputation of genius so here it goes

I've been covertly leveling a Jedi Knight (to Lvl 11, so it has gone about as quick as Fynn) during breaks at work. I just got to Carrick and was curious on thoughts about specialization. I KNOW we need DPS, but if I go Guardian, I can respec to tank in a pinch. Is there a big difference between Sentinel and Guardian as far as DPS out put, and is Guardian a viable end-game DPS'er? I'm basically looking for an alt that will be useful to the guild, here, so I don't have any real preference. Thanks guys.

the dps part i think it's a litle less has sentinels get bonus to having the off hand but shouldn't be that much maybe less than 200 dps on end game about the tank i been playing with some and they are very good they do need a litle more wait to get agro built up but the rest has all the others tanks and it's said that they are the best for single target tanking

I know of several JKs who play guardians who DPS in raids and they are not having issues being competitive DPS-wise. And as you pointed out, the ability to respec to tank is pretty powerful. Especially with dual-spec coming in an upcoming patch.

My JK is a guardian for that reason, the flexilibity between tank and DPS.
