I received an email about the pre-launch guild program and thought, "Hey I wonder if that crazy Guild I joined is still around". Needless to say I was pleasantly surprised to discover The Church is still standing and the clergy is still plotting drunken vengeance (new site and forums look awesome BTW). I recognize some old faces and I'm looking forward to meeting the new ones.

The past years have treated me well. I hope the same holds true for all of you. I stopped playing SWG right before the first major game change (I think it was the "Combat Upgrade"). I neglected to keep in touch with The Church. A crime. I pledge to atone for my sins with an excessive amount of drunkenness and vengeance.

I don't know too much about SWTOR yet, except that I want to play it. My plan is to join the church server, preferably with a support class (ARE there even support classes? I'm such a n00b).

I must also pick a PvP, east-coast server. Too long it has been since my bloodied corpse was seen lying in a starport queue...

Jounville happened to contact me last night as I stood in a new local bar, drinking a thick IPA. The setting was too perfect. It was as if Alvis himself served my beer and spake, "Vengeance is mine..."
