PVE, Republic, west coast server (Scylla was west coast and I figured that was fine)

If we want to go to Sith for launch we should decide now.

I also concur with Bulwark. Joun and I were discussing this the other night and the lore of Alvis, while about drinking and revenge, is about righteous revenge. We don't shoot people in the frickin face to gain power or to intimidate them. We do it as an act of vengence for them having insulted one or more of us in some way.

We aren't on a quest for personal power like the Sith. We aren't trying to manipulate galactic events like the IA and revenge doesn't come in the form of a bounty paid by the highest bidder. We value the freedom to kick back, get fighting drunk and rain Alvis's own vengence down upon those who ruined his feast. And those freedoms are best idealized by the Galactic Republic.

I applied but I may get turned down. The only things I had to offer the guild were alcohol and revenge.

As for Sith or Republic, I don't care. The classes are virtually the same on both sides. Besides, after a few months I will probably create an alt on the opposing side and try out the story.

I clicked accept on 3 people but it keeps timing out.

I'll just do it later after the interweb land rush is done. I did the important thing though and secure our name.

I said I was looking for hawtpants, booze lovers, drunken vengence and extra cuddle time with Cuspar and that not only got me accepted but made an officer...I think the floor has to look down on this guild's standards

With the launch of the guild systems page yesterday I think my 1 of my 2 theories on ToR development is correct, and I'm hoping my second will be as well. I shared them with Joun over the last couple days but I want to put them down so I have bragging rights if I call it.

1 - BW is using exernal paid testing services for the bulk of their game testing, and as such there will be a very limited public open beta essentially for stress testing and marketing that will run for no more than 6 weeks prior to launch. Their motivation for this is to keep the story, etc under wraps as much as possible so there isn't a SW:ToR wiki page up on launch day with the walk through of every quest, instance, etc in the game published.

2 - PAX east is this weekend, and I'm betting we're getting a launch date. It's already mid-March and it takes a good 6 months to get distribution deals done, packaging, appropriate marketing, DVD's burned and shipped en-mass, etc. BW thinks PAX is the biggest of the cons because it's basically by gamers for gamers. And while Joun suggested they may go with a digital download option, I just can't imagine how that would work effectively with the size the game it likely to be due to it being fully voiced so buying retail box is likely going to be your best option for installing the game in a timely manner. So with that convergence of issues and the way they've really started ramping up the updated and information releases I think this weekend, possibly as early as tomorrow, we will get a date.

Sniper is in, alliance andf rivals haven't been added as guild features yet.

Well PAX is going RP I don't even know if KOTOR is reforming. My biggest goal is to see if we can be on the same server as GTF if they manage to reform.
