I know they'll probably write a cool enough backstory to satisfy the SW canon purists, but honestly...how many cool available species did Bioware have to choose from in their sandbox? And they went ewok?

I also recall a statement from Daniel Erickson saying in 2011 (and I quote): "There are no Ewoks. I can go ahead and confirm that now. Endor is not floating around yet in their time period."

Does Erickson even work there anymore?

It seems with each firing/hiring cycle they do, all previous work gets revamped, back-shelved or tossed out the window completely. I figure in a year or so the SWTOR timeline will have moved on become Star Wars: The Future Republic....

He moved on. I don't think he got fired, he just decided it was time to start something else.

I just had a great event idea to help build up the SWTOR server community...

A very high barrier to entry. Legacy level 40 and 1 million to just get the Ewok.

Then you have the practical consideration it is a tank/heal hybrid so in theory the fight could never end.

My only hope that I know probably isn't going to happen is if we get then new companion that you get to send 6 different crew skill missions or almost as good would be artifice crit bonus.

Apparently it's also a Cartel Coin item, so you can go that way if you aren't LL 40 or don't wanna blow $1mil

That seems to be happening a lot with bioware. We interviewed a guy at work last week from there.

For the crewskill bonus, Treek will be like HK, +1 to crafting and +5 mission efficiency.
