Nope, thread on the official forums has not been updated since they announced the downtime. I'm honestly not expecting them til friday.

Retail Client Version. You don't know what Gold Build means? (The disc duplication process used to involve making a gold master. Due to technology advancements, it's not a part of the process now, but the term stuck).

There's also a bug of sorts... if you get stuck about 25% into the loading screen after selecting your character and it hangs (mine did, twice for 10+ minutes each time), make a new character and get through the first video segment, then log out and your old character will log right in.
