Sad news indeed. When we first started dating, my eventual wife gave me a dogeared old paperback copy of "R is for Rocket." For our wedding, I gave her a signed copy of the same in super-fancy hardback form. The world needs more wonderful, imaginative science fiction.

I heard that he wanted to be burned on a funeral pyre made entirely of old copies of Fahrenheit 451.
