Yeah, not going to bother. If there was 1 thing that I learned from the several games of diplomacy I've played with you fuckers in the past it's that none of you trust me in a gaming setting. Even when I repeatedly demonstrate that I'm on the up and up.

But, the whole point of Diplomacy is to betray each other at the most opportune time. I don't see the problem here. Besides, we can bring back the awesome Diplomacy signatures!

True, but the problem with betraying people at the opportune time is that implies that they trusted you at some point. I think of all the games of diplomacy that we played a few years ago, and that was like what like a half dozen games, I only betrayed 2 people ever. Everyone else I played it straight with, yet apparently I was incredibly untrustworthy.

I trust you more than I do Dood, Whitey, Reese, Vesp, Bulwark, or Raikir.
I think it largely stems from how you've portrayed yourself out of diplomacy which had a negative impact. If Apple's slogan for years was "Think Different" your campaign could have been "Think Evil." And that inevitably puts people on edge. The smart players know that A does not hold true in B and can work past that.

I am in. Snlu178.
Oh and Blackie, I trust you. So now I am hurt by your non-trust in me. Therefore I no longer trust you and must crush you.

I'd play. But starting this weekend, I have 2 out of town weddings that I have to attend. All within a span of a week. So, I might not have much time to focus my evil machinations on my opponents. After that, I'm down though!

Cuspar broke the game. Let's try again. I'm ready to confirm when everyone gets in there. I can't wait to be turkey and irrelevant three turns in.

Upon reconsideration after breaking the last game, I don't think I should. I really don't have time and am never on the forums on the weekend enough to keep the game flowing. Is there any other Alvian you guys can force into playing??
