Because of the hack on Sony, everyone gets 45 free days back, or another SOE game if you want. I bought the complete Lucasarts bundle on Steam a few months ago, so I think I will use it to login on SWG just for kicks. I feel I am going too fast in LA Noire anyway, so I might as well. Says I have 11 new items added, and the welcome back programs adds some stuff.

got a few mins left on the install, but seems Scylla doesn't exist anymore. I was lucky and had my password written down from when I beta tested DC Universe online, so I put the old one in, then you just have to change it, and should be good to go.

Do you have to have been a PS3 customer?

No, the hack took down the PSN and all of SOE, so if you know your old account name and password, you could get back in SWG, Everquest 1 and 2, DC Universe, and whatever else they make. The problem is Scylla doesn't exist, and player transfers to other servers (for free) or done in game, but since I can't log Dashl in, it looks like he is dead forever, since Scylla is.

PSN store should be up Monday they said, and on the PS3 you will get some free stuff, choice of 2 games from a list of 5, free 30 days of the Playstation Plus, and some movie rentals. Other than the game Demon's Souls, I only use my PS3 for blu ray, but I will pick Infamous and Little Big Planet 1 for free when it is back up.

Looks like I will use my old roommates character on Ahazi, and the game wants all new people to go to one of the European servers, since it is the most populated.

I just wish I had my main, but I think the last time I logged in I transfered all money and items over to the Batho account, which I don't have anymore since Brandon took it back.

I think it was a year ago or so that SOE did a server consolidation on SWG and they offered everyone on the servers they were taking down in-game transfers. If you didn't transfer off a dead server your character died when it was taken offline, so basically all of SWG Alvis is dead and buried.

I read on the forums you can send a ticket in about it, so I went ahead and did that, probably get back to me on day 44 of the free 45 days.

First, I felt dirty even reading this thread, second I tried to login when they let people back in for some reason and my main was lost and customer service could never help me so Whiteness has been dead for years...
