Take one part epic historic drama, one part gratuitous violence and gore, sprinkle with wall-to-wall explicit pornography... and you have the show in a nutshell.

There's also plenty of drunken vengeance involved for you diehard Alvians.

For fans of the show there is also a Spartacus Facebook game that is strangely addicting. Add me as an ally if you like (Josh)

I like this series also. Also seeing Jaime Murray (from Hustle and Dexter) as Gaia was easy on the eyes.

Sad stuff...hats off to a great actor who did an amazing job and died far too young...
