The Church of Alvis

I was at our local liquor store last night pickin up some stock items (tequila and cointreau for Jess and picked up a bottle of Jameson Irish Whiskey for myself), and at the counter I saw they had a bottle of alcohol infused chocolate whip cream.



Now we all know I am a sucker for a girly drink. Hell give me something that has Bailey's, Kahlua, and ice cream and my pants will melt off. But this seems wrong for some reason. I mean come on, have they no decency to maintain the separation between booze and garnish?

In other news Jameson Irish Whiskey was surprisingly good. I watched the Daily Show last night sipping it over the rocks cut with some water and was really impressed.

Jameson is a great Irish Whiskey. I prefer Redbreast myself, but Jameson slides a little lower on the price scale and makes a fine Irish Coffee (2 oz Jameson, 1 oz simple syrup, 4 oz coffee, 1 oz heavy cream on top).

That alcoholic whipped cream is an abomination before Alvis.

At least it wasn't called Jizz.

That bottle makes it look like some sort of hair product.

While is some ways it may be an abomination...there is some definate potential I see in the product as well, and not just for topping girlie drinks...

If you do something that is going to use cream or whipped cream in this case, why not have it be alcoholic as well. It would seem that would be the Alvian way but perhaps I am missing something here.
