Not announced = not for 4-6 years...so yeah...I'm not holding my breath for anything.

Although it make me wonder...timing wise if you push it out to closer to the 6 year range, that makes ToR what 8-9 years old? Could we maybe see ToR shut down when this new game launched just as they shut down SWG when ToR launched?

I'm not holding my breath either. I mean, it's interesting and briefly I allowed myself some hope, but then I remembered who said it and who he works for.

Well when TOR is shut down, it will be Disney calling the shots on any Star Wars IP MMO. It would be interesting to see what they would do with it.

They'd probably re-purpose the ToonTown codebase. "Disney's TORTown".

Honestly I think Disney would try for a Marvel Heroes clone in a Star Wars Skin.

God dammit, you're right. And now I'm very sad.

The Repopulation is still coming along and it doesn't look too bad actually. Dunno how much of a spiritual successor to SWG it will be, but it's got some promise.

I really need a new sandbox game to play in (and I'm not talking Tatooine)
