How you holding up Furiel? Is it a sign that tomorrow will not be?

I would have found this more ironic if it happened tomorrow, but I'm just enjoying my snow day. We've had 13" as of 12:30 this afternoon and blizzard conditions are supposed to continue until 4ish, then it'll slow down and finally stop around midnight. Some areas are looking at close to 18" total accumulation.

But I got beer, food and gas for the snowblower, which I started last night to ensure it runs so I'll be fine. And I'm almost done with my Xmas shopping...just have to order my daughter's ipad and accessories for store pickup yet.

Think I'm going to go make myself some hot chocolate with butterschotch schnaaps.

Kinda jealous, I love a good snow around xmas. I'm in a T-shirt and it's about 80 today in Florida. Very un-holiday. What. The. Heck.

On Monday we had no snow on the ground.
Tuesday we got about an inch.
I just let my dog out and watching him try to get around in the snow. He's a 75lb yellow lab and his head come up to my waist when he's standing on all 4s.

The snow here is now up to his chest. To move around he has to jump in the snow. It's hilarious to watch.

I am regretting my choice to come into work today rather than use my daughter as an excuse to say home.

I chose...poorly.
