Portal 2: There is science to do!

Post by Blackferne » Thu Apr 21, 2011 2:43 pm

I started playing last night and am I'm guessing about half way through the single player campaign.

Anyone interested in Co-Op mode some night? (friday and Saturday are out for me) we can get on vent and stuff!

Is it wrong for me to admit I don't have a system capable of playing portal 2?

Most people don't refer to an iPad as a "system".

In addition you will probably need to find a viable option for SWTOR.

Yes. This is a slow convo with Hot Wife on what system I should/can/allowed to get. Anything better than my 1.6ghz acer tvpc will be an upgrade.

They say when you go on a quest for vengence to dig two graves. They underestimate me.

I started downloading it at 11pm on the 19th and it finished 7pm yesterday, but I think my computer went into sleep mode at some point during the download while I was at work.

If you liked portal 1 I think you'll love portal 2.

Never played Portal - but it looks like great fun. Do I need a control pad to play it, or is it keyboard/mouse?

Finished the single player campaign last night. Total time was 9 and a half hours. I'm sure some of you guys could beat that.

Next up Co-op with Cuspar!

How hard would this be to play with a controlpad? Im thinking of picking it up for the ps3, but without mouse and keyboard, I don't know that Id be good enough at aiming to make it through the games.

I think it would be easy with a control pad. Also, if you buy the PS3 version, you can download the PC version free apparently!

(I am on level 18/19 in Portal 1. Will start 2 tomorrow probably.)

Puzzle wise on Portal 2 I didn't see as much double fling (needing to make a portal mid air to get greater momentum) so I think it could be done with a controller.
